Lion-O to WileyKat: "No. We [meaning him and Cheetera] were just...uh...trying to get me sword to work"
Wow! I never expected sexual double entendres in a Thundercats cartoon

I was surprised that they casually reveal it first in a flashback before revealing it again later in more epic fashion. That was an odd choice IMO.

Too bad Kung-Fu Panda did it first

Yeah that was an incredibly weird choice.

I can't say it. It's too horrible. Zechs...is...not...wrong...

But in all fairness the premiere had twice as much time to tell it's story in which makes for better pacing and a more epic feel.

And what was up with, what looked like, Lion-O's ancestor standing next to Mumm-Ra?

I'm really disappointed in this series after the series opener. It's quality is what I feared it would be and then watched the premiere and got surprised. Too bad it didn't stay like that.
So the head cleric knew where the book was, but the King sent his two best warriors after it with no idea of where to find it (and leading to the downfall of almost the entire race as they found mum-ra instead and that dude turned on them). Then the Cleric sends off the Lion-o to find the book without saying where. Then when mum-ra has him he knows the way right there.
