As wary as I am of this remake, the idea of Josh Brolin in the Oh Daesu role, and maybe Christian Bale as Woojin is fucking brilliant.

People who get mad at the mere thought of a beloved movie being remade are weird.

The original movie will still be there. They're not replacing it.

This will either be good, or it'll be bad.. which can be said of any movie, remake or not. There's no point getting all up in arms over it yet.

Fans of the original should at least be happy there are some fantastic castings for it, with Brolin and Bale being mentioned.

Well, yeah. The main reason Jude moved to SF was because he'd have more... uh... alternatives.
