The 1977 Death Star Playset made of cardboard with a plastic gun. It was sold for a very short time in Europe (by Meccano), OZ and NZ (TolToys), Canada (Kenner) and in the UK (Palitoy), but never the USA. Over time it`s become a Holy Grail amongst Star Wars collectors and an original will easily sell for over 500 quid (800 US Dollars).

Someone made a faithful reproduction for computer rendering. From the looks of it, I assume they scanned the actual panels for the graphics.

I have viewed the 1977 death star play-set and found it very amazing. My first cousin named James Vince lives in Europe and his father once bought it for his child that is for my cousin. And he uses it and enjoys very much. He often shares its features with me and that is why I have also interested in it now...!

Question. Was there a cardboard Executor bridge made? Because I've seen pictures of some Star Wars figures on a cardboard bridge of a Star Destroyer, but I've never could find anything else on it.

Me, too. I still have mine. Trash compactor still has the original foam.

So did I.I keep it assembled and with my action figures posed on it almost until graduating from high school.
