I watched it and I didn't think it was much of an improvement over the previous season at all.

-I am so tired of the whole glee club is for losers thing. The writers have been that into the ground since season 1, and it stopped being interesting or compelling before season 1 ended.

-Quinn's new look  Whoever decided that would resonate with people is seriously out of touch and just spends too much time looking at the promos for hot topic. Just to top it all off they have her smoke too.

-Sue, they've stretched this credibility as far as it can go.

-Continuing with Sue this season. Her whole "anti-arts" campaign is ridiculous, its an afterschool club, those typically don't have a school budget to begin with and they've indicated in the past that they basically have to fundraise for everything. Also if they decided to unfairly target them then they would have to hold every after school club to the same standard.

-Will's assertation "I need this income" isn't he a spanish teacher? Or is he getting paid full time teacher salary to sing and dance with kids.

-And as stupid as Sue's argument were against the arts she ended up being right about one thing, they act like they own the school. They start singing and dancing in the middle of the lunchroom and an outside hangout area like they own the place.

-As much as I cannot stand Kurt and Rachel at least their storylines had some actual progress and made a little bit of sense for a change.

Also, cheerleading is not classified as a sport by school districts, which means eliminated arts programs would eliminate cheer as well, since it's considered a non-sports club just like dance or glee.

And I totally agree about the whole "glee club is only for losers" thing. It's just ridiculous and lame. When I went to school, no one in the sports teams hated the choir or drama kids because they were choir or drama kids, and in fact some of the more popular jocks actually participated in a couple of plays, some of the drama kids were really popular, many of the girls on the choir were popular and/or dating jocks, and they worked together on fundraisers all the fucking time.

Heck yeah the two biggest groups of popular kids at my school were the band kids and then the drama kids.

The only sport that got a lot of attention was football, and honestly I couldn't, at the time, tell you a single players name. Some of them were nice guys the rest were douches and were treated as such.

The silliest thing about it is the fact that no attractive girl is going to lose status because she sings or dances, especially if she does it well. As for the guys they'd get heckled a bit like guys do, but at the end of the day they get to hang out with a bunch of hotties, while all the football players get to hang out with sweaty half naked men.
