yea, Death Magnetic was ok, but the last few albums before that were not that great. I really didn't think it could get worse. I thought DM meant they were turning back for the better.

if you watch the documentary some kinda monster (which you should it's amazing) it shows how out of touch the boys in Metallica really are, I think this album is further proof of that now what I can't wait to see is how this sells because if this does well people are sheep that only buy do to name recognition

That doc was some BS. They're all fighting over dumb shit, Lars is crying about how Jason Newsstand's new band is better than his and James is in AA or some shit and Kirk is just wearing tight pants all the time. I was really let down by that documentary and how it was shot to make them look like a mess but they eventually triumph and become the world's most awesome metal band again.

Oh and the part with whatshisname the guy they kicked out, where they were all crying in the therapy session, that shit was lame.

There were parts in the film that felt genuinely fake though.

The end was lame. They made it seem like they were superunified and St. Angry was going to outsell Thriller or some shit.

I dunno I saw it differently I think the director accurately showed the band though that St.Anger was the white album II, but really it was just a big pile of shit

it did sell very well though
