Also, why aren't RG scores factored into the calculation?

As mentioned somewhere before, I did it this way to try something different and it's easier for me to tabulate based off of the Excel spreadsheet. :P

Plus, it helps show which books still have reviews coming in. We will be getting all four reviews in as we have backup reviewers on hand to do reviews for anyone who doesn't get their stuff in on time. Looking back on it, I'll probably do average score next time (when Marvel reboots their line) since there's been so many concerns over it

RG, while I could factor it into the average score, doesn't fit into the concept of having four seperate categories of reviewers review each article. Plus, there was no guarantee that RG would even pick a DC book (we went six or seven weeks without selecting a DC book) so I didn't want the hassle nor did I want to cause Punchy any more problems since he's already being a big help with RG right now.

Nope, the 52apolooza Rankings only count the individual 52apolooza Reviews.

Cool. Thanks for the explanation. I appreciate it.

Have we thought about looking at how other sites have scored these books and tabling a comprehensive "Rotten Tomatoes" average for the books?

Might be kind of interesting, and it would actually be useful data to tradewaiters.

Multiversity did that over on their site and actually called it "the Rotten Tomatoes aggregate average" or whatnot with links to about twenty different reviews per issue. We can't compete with that. :P

I'll run the Power Poll for the last two weeks (which is similar but uses some set sources) this weekend. I had to sacrifice some of the stuff I usually do to make sure that 52apolooza wraps up smoothly.

Any chance that the new scores will be reflected on the front page?
