Marvel had a liveblog detailing their "Next Big Thing"... An upcoming arc in Venom.
In attendance for this liveblog were writers Rick Remender, Jeff Parker, Rob Williams, artist Tony Moore, editor Jeanine Schaefer, and PR person James Viscardi.
The big announcement? An upcoming story arc written by Rick Remender, Jeff Parker, and Rob Williams and drawn by Tony Moore (at least the first and last parts) in Venom issues 13, 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 13.4, and 14. These issues will be weekly starting in February and into March.
The story will feature a "2.0" version of the New Fantastic Four from the classic Walt Simonson and Art Adams story. This New Fantastic Four 2.0 will feature Venom, X-23, Red Hulk, and the new female Ghost Rider.(though never called the "Fatal Four" in the conference, the images accompanying the liveblog did have "fatalfour" in its filename so that may be another name for this team).
The story will find these characters in Las Vegas facing a villain (unrevealed) who wants to bring a new dimenson to Earth. Of course, they say, not all of the characters need to come out of the story alive.
Stefano Caselli will be providing the covers for all of these issues.
