Marvel Lays Off Staff as Cost-Cutting Measure

Comic Book Resources has broken the story of as many as fifteen staffers being let go today.

Unfortunately, it appears that Marvel has let or will be letting people go today. In what Comic Book Resources reports is a "cost-cutting measure," fifteen people are no longer at Marvel.

Says CBR:

Comic Book Resources has learned that Marvel Comics is expected to lay off as many as 15 people today in what's being characterized simply as a cost-cutting measure, and not based on performance.The layoffs come from the editorial and production departments, and include editors Alejandro Arbona and Jody LeHeup.
