man that's a great price.

Techies what do you think about it? Is it worth the purchase or should I buy the more expensive samsung tab?

If only to browse and read comics it looks awesome.

But forget about more complex gaming.

Considering it's only $200, and you have access to Amazon's wide range of media, from movies and TV to music (albeit for a monthly fee; first month is free) it's a great device.

It depends on what you want out of a tablet, though. Obviously, this is not going to compete with 10" tablets like the iPad or Samsung.

But it is only $200.

I am really excited when they announced that they were coming up with a real tablet and I thought to myself that it could be a game changer as Amazon is a pretty established brand and should they start with it at the right foot, the iPad could be on shaky ground.

I have a kindle 3 before and though it was a very simple device with not much to expect from, it finishes its task with class and I am hoping that the same continues with the

This is a tempting comics option, but what I love about the Kindle 3 is that it's not back lit.
Eventually we'll get an affordable color e-Ink tablet.

I order it the day it was announced. It is not an iPad killer but it has something I like better that it is sudo Android.
