Clooney plays the same part every time. He doesn't have any rage. and he doesn't have any toughest sonnuvabitch in the room aura. he's not a warrior or a spy or secret agent

he doesn't come across as any of those things.

i mean, sure he would look up and do that half smirk thing.but that's about all he can do.

and play the george clooney persona. which is ok sometimes. but it's not nick fury.

Enjoyable movies, but I don't think I'd consider any of those performances particularly good on an acting level. Half of those are what I'd consider guilty pleasures rather than actual good movies.

Death Proof fucking sucked, though.

And Russell? Why because he played a guy with an eyepatch? way to reach out there, no I don't see him as leader of a org over superheroes.
Don't know about Josh, I'd have to see him try to play the part before completely thinking that's a bad idea too, but I don't see it at this point.

Those are all cheesy b movies.

Which he's good at but he never made the A list.

He's not a particularly great actor and rarely has been asked to be. Maybe in Tombstone and Breakdown.

But even in Tombstone Val Kilmer stole the movie,
