At this point I will say incredibly credible.

I'll go with wait until DC announces it, but playing the suppose game. Cooke could be a good fit for that type of book.

Those two articles do not appear to confirm anything other than DC has some guys working on something that will punch the Internet in the balls. Is there something else on BC that does more than say "Watchmen 2! And here's a vague quote to confirm that someone somewhere RESPONDED!"

You could put Jesus on the creative team, and it would still be received poorly, I think. And doesn't DC have anything better to do than prove Alan Moore right?

It's a prequel, not written by Alan Moore, and done 25 years later. Nothing about that screams anything other than cash grab.

Alan Moore's become too much of a whiny child about comics in general to be proven right anymore. And even he admits he's now just acting like a child and doesn't care.

The people who originally treated Moore badly are gone from both DC and Marvel and everyone admits both Didio/Lee, and Quesda have tried many times to mend the bridges with Moore.

He refuses every time. And then badmouths the companies in every interview he gives (granted he's no doubt prodded to do it via the person interviewing him) without fail.

Time to just move on and do the projects with no need of him being involved. He doesn't want to be and doesn't need to be. He'll just give his share of the money to the artists because he doesn't want it.

You mistake my point. It's literally not about Moore being right about his bitching and moaning; it's about DC doing something so stupid that they're making him right.

He may or may not have been utterly full of himself when he said DC was picking through his trash (with the Rainbow Corps stuff). But if this rumor is true, it would mean DC really is picking through the stuff he cast aside decades ago.

But again, I see nothing in the links to indicate this rumor has any basis in truth.

I'll believe it when I hear it from either DC or a credible news source.

And then, someone will say, "We shouldn't know this," and on that day, that person shall be right.
