I wonder what happened to Tyler Kirkham? He never seemed to have an issue with being on time when he drew Green Lantern Corps. Oh well, Harvey Tolibao is a decent artist and similar enough to Kirkham that it doesn’t matter too much. This was OK, a bit like Aquaman, not much happened, but what did was enjoyable and it’s just cool to see Kyle Rayner take centre-stage again. The thing that really stands out here is what the fucking Guardians did to Ganthet, it’s bloody horrific is what it is, and it’s just another in the long list of crimes the shitty blue dwarves have committed recently, when are the GL franchise writers finally going to get together in an event and kill these mother-fuckers? They deserve it. Oh, and whilst I know Larfleeze isn’t dead, it was great for a moment to think he was, the world is a better place with no Larfleeze.

It doesn't matter to me since I've stopped reading DC but isn't it counter productive to say "RIP Larfleeze" and then "spoilers"? Isn't pointing out his death in the title a spoiler itself?

He's not actually dead, is the point.

I agree that what they did to Ganthet was very horrific. Just like when they stripped Hal of his ring after he just saved them and the corps or allowing Sinestro to keep his ring, their choices become stranger and more questionable. I want to know why. During War of the Green Lanterns I speculated that the Guardians may be going insane due to their repeated exposure to emotions but after seeing them attack Kyle Rayner like a pack of wild dogs, I am starting to suspect something else entirely.

So what exactly did they do to Ganthet?

Basically lobotomised him, they removed his emotions and made him like the other Guardians.

Uhg. I'm glad I don't read DC anymore.

Is this more of their "Look at us! We're edgy" plan?

Could DC be building up to an event in which the DCU has to take out the Guardians?

That would be a bad idea. Like Superman having to take out the staff of the Daily Planet. Sure Perry's a dick but does anyone really want to see Superman beat him up?

Midgets are for wrestling and throwing...and occasionally for really weird porno movies. Not for blasting to death with power rings.
