Hmn maybe. I guess maybe I got the titles mixed up? I thought they were being aggressive and having another with the same name (plus number).

TFW2005 Coverage Of Hasbro's Investor Day 2011

Fun started after the Lunch Break, especially to those who were there at the event. Lots of Sneak Peeks.

Transformers: Rescuebots cartoon will feature their key products. And the show is set to start next week (that's what we hear they say. Could be a an error). We were then treated to a sneak peek video. Sadly however, only those who attended could see it, we can only hear it. Optimus Prime was talking to the Autobots. The voice is similar to Peter Cullen’s. Can’t tell for sure whether it’s him or not.

Then a sneak peek of Transformers: Prime packaging.

They mentioned Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. It seems as though a full product line will accompany the game release.

Nothing much was told regarding the next Transformers Movie.

Transformers Rescue Bots Cartoon Information - Premieres 17 December

The Hub have sent us over a whole lot of cool information on the upcoming Transformers Rescue Bots Television series, including the details of the premise, the voice cast and most important of all - the date of the premiere so you can check this show out.

Transformers Rescue Bots will premiere with a special sneak peek presentation of its first two episodes on Saturday 17 December 12pm - 1pm on The Hub. Voice talent will include Steve Blum (voice of Starscream on “Transformers Prime”), John DiMaggio (voice of Bender on “Futurama”), Maurice LaMarche (voice of Morbo and Calculon on “Futurama”), Lacey Chabert ("Party of Five") and LeVar Burton (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”).

Created for the younger generation of Transformers fans, the new series from the creators of “Transformers Prime” will feature a simpler, more traditional animation style in a show that centers on a group of Autobots charged by Optimus Prime himself with protecting and learning about humans while stationed on an island off the Eastern seaboard that serves as a high-tech testing ground. Voice talent include Steve Blum (voice of Starscream on “Transformers Prime”), John DiMaggio (voice of Bender on “Futurama”), Maurice LaMarche (voice of Morbo and Calculon on “Futurama”), Lacey Chabert ("Party of Five") and LeVar Burton (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”).

We're excited about having the new series AND season two of “Transformers Prime” on The Hub’s schedule early next year!

I have to know, does this mean G2 never happened? If so that's a huge letdown.

On another note, it's amazing how Wildman's art evolved after those days...he went from drooling 90's robots with Liefeldian appearances to doing great stuff like War Within and now this.

Correct. G2 never happened.

Which hysterically contradicts their Hama continued GIJoe book.

There's two third parties who are releasing a kick ass Devastator (one of them made that Bruticus from awhile ago and it's bigger than that). Both look awesome and both are coming out next year. I'd wait until then.

Steven Spielberg Wants Bay To Make Transformers 4, Michael Bay Is Considering

On these recent articles by Slash Film and Entertainment Weekly, the question was asked if Steven Spielberg thought there would be another Michael Bay Transformers movie to which he said:

"I hope so, because I think he made the best of the three with this last one. I certainly can’t imagine anybody other than Michael being equipped to make another Transformers. He’s invented a genre and he’s got the secret formula."

And at the same time, Michael Bay was interviewed by Channel News Asia when he went to Singapore to open Transformers: The Ride.

"How did I know someone’s going to ask me this question today? We’re talking about it, but there’s nothing right now. I’m going to do a tiny movie first, then we’ll talk about it, if I potentially do it."

If they do Bay and Spielberg need to executive produce it together and let a competent director take over.

You know what would be cool? Paul Greengrass directing...just so long as he refrains of the shaky handheld camera action scenes. But he's a guy that might actually be able to make the human/military storyline compelling.

Sadly I don't think they care as long as it makes money
