One way to look at it, or they could not afford the professional developer.

Not saying that is an excuse but they could have worked something out. Take the site down for 24 hours restrict access to test things out.

But sounds like they did take a hit and my guess why the 5% code was added.
I wonder if they even used/have a Dev environment.

Anyway, I wish them luck but stumbling out of the gate like that will hurt them in the long run or maybe it did already?

This is one of the reasons why I cut back significantly.

Funny how money's not the issue.. :D

Space has been an issue here for a while as well. I've been meaning to buy shelves from Costco to help free up room in my storage space where the majority of my back issues are because I can't just put them on the floor anymore, they need to be stacked, but the containers are too heavy to put them on top of each other.

Course, getting family to help with putting these shelves together is another problem. LOL they've made promises but, have all disappeared off the map saying they're still too busy. Not to mention the shelves cost $150 each. And this stuff does need to get done soon.

I plan on packing up all the DC books pre "the 52" cause that's going to free up A LOT of space in my drawers for a long time. But since I haven't finished reading them yet, its still on the "to do" list.

I like how on MOC's site the extended deadline message totally breaks outside of it's table and becomes unreadable in Firefox. :smt005

It was also amusing when after they cancelled my original order so that I could take advantage of the 5% off coupon I was unable to process my order until I opened up IE and used it instead.

Should we start a MOC death pool?

At least they picked a good month for that 5% credit. I was tempted to go ahead and pre-order the Untold Tales of Spider-Man Omnibus as well, but opted to wait and use MCS credit.

Do you think the Madman collection will really be worth the coin? Seems like a lot of filler for the price tag. Great creative collaborations though.

MOC have seriously lost me, I'm still waiting for last month's box and DCBS offer 4 day international shipping for the same price, if not $5 more from what I've looked into. When I complained about books that were missing from my consolidated list they told me that according to their records what they had listed was correct.

I love that this little site change has breathed a little life into this thread though hah :D

I think it will be both super cool and completely unsatisfying. It'll probably end up being more of art book than collection of comic strips, but I'm enough of a Madman geek to be willing to drop $60 on it.

You could have switched a while ago then. I'm still hung up on DCBS not accepting AMEX or PayPal... that and their website still being a mess.

When I complained about books that were missing from my consolidated list they told me that according to their records what they had listed was correct.

That would piss me off to no end and for sure make me jump.

Everything seemed to transfer okay for me except for the few items I know have been cancelled. (The Fables werewolves HC and two issues of Batman, Inc.) Customer Service said that they're working on getting the credits system implemented so as long as they get applied in a month or two it's not a big deal.

Ack! This was gnawing at me all day long so I went back and double checked and my list is missing stuff too! :smt011

Freakangels Volume 6 TP
Unwritten Volume 4: Leviathan TP
Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys Volume 17 TP
Shade #1
B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth Volume 2: Gods and Monsters TP

I'm going to be taking a trip to Gretna if I don't get my BPRD and 20th Century Boys. :smt013

And there's no way they can say they've already sent those to me since they all came out in October.

Good luck with reconciling your lists BK and GOSD.

Random though if you have the conformation email from MOC how is it possible that they cannot say they do not have it on record. Maybe I'm missing something. Damn not looking to go through the listings.

Do you have a full list of what's missing from your list? I'd be curious if any of them show up on the rest of our lists as processing or if something is missing from one person's list it's missing from everyone's list.

Well I went through my AUG order, which in theory should been shipped this month.

What I did was:
1) Made a print out of the Master Outstanding Order List for my account.
2) Exported my AUG Confirmation Email from MOC and put it in to a spreadsheet.
3) Compared AUG from the MOOL to the AUG List. I highlighting each issues on the AUG list that was not in the MOOL.
4) I compared my last month shipping list to the titles highlighted in the AUG list, and removed issue that had been shipped but again not on the MOOL.

And here is what I found.

AUG110033 BTVS SEASON 9 FREEFALL #2 MORRIS CVR
AUG110173 MISTER TERRIFIC #2
AUG110176 MY GREATEST ADVENTURE #1 (OF 6)
AUG110194 BATMAN AND ROBIN #2
AUG110195 BATGIRL #2

AUG110216 DEMON KNIGHTS #2
AUG110218 GRIFTER #2
AUG110219 DEATHSTROKE #2

AUG110280 AMERICAN VAMPIRE SURVIVAL OT FITTEST #5 (OF 5) (MR)
AUG110285 NORTHLANDERS #45 (MR)
AUG110290 UNEXPECTED #1 (MR)
AUG110292 UNWRITTEN #30 (MR)
AUG110320 GHOSTBUSTERS ONGOING #2
AUG110343 DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS #12
AUG110415 CBLDF LIBERTY ANNUAL 2011 #4 CVR A CASSADAY
AUG110418 CARBON GREY ORIGINS #1 (OF 2) (MR)
AUG110447 NIGHTMARE WORLD TP VOL 03 DEMON DAYS (MR)
AUG110510 BLUE ESTATE #6 (MR)
AUG110534 PIGS #2
AUG110571 FEAR ITSELF HULK VS DRACULA #3 (OF 3)
AUG110596 ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN #3
AUG110597 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #671
AUG110602 BLACK PANTHER MOST DANGEROUS MAN ALIVE #524
AUG110609 AVENGERS SOLO #1 (OF 5)
AUG110613 AVENGERS CHILDRENS CRUSADE #8 (OF 9)
AUG110614 NEW AVENGERS #17
AUG110620 ALL WINNERS SQUAD BAND OF HEROES #5 (OF 8)
AUG110626 PUNISHER #4
AUG110634 ALPHA FLIGHT #5
AUG110639 FF #10
AUG110643 LEGION OF MONSTERS #1 (OF 4)
AUG110644 SHIELD #3
AUG110646 THUNDERBOLTS #164
AUG110647 MYSTIC #3 (OF 4)

AUG110657 GENERATION HOPE #12
AUG110658 X-MEN LEGACY #257
AUG110660 X-MEN #19
AUG110663 DAKEN DARK WOLVERINE #15
AUG110670 X-MEN EVOLUTIONS #1
AUG110671 UNCANNY X-FORCE #16
AUG110677 PUNISHERMAX #18 (MR)
AUG110911 IRREDEEMABLE #30
AUG110997 BOYS #59 (MR)
AUG111198 STUFF OF LEGEND JESTERS TALE #4 (OF 4)

So I sent three PDF's one of my MOOL, one of my AUG Confirmation, and lastly the missing issues. I have not heard back yet. But pretty much want to know if this is what pulls are based on or something else? Also when I do get my box I'll be able to see if these issues are missing and then I'll talk to MOC once again. (Theory is that this month (Oct) should be packed up and shipping out soon.

I'll let everyone know what I hear back from MOC.
