I got it in the mail at like noon on monday (well fed ex, not mail)

Up to like level 50something now. It was funny though when the guys I play with saw me on it. One of them sent me an invite to play MW2 and when I didn't accept he was like, wtf. Then looked again saw MW3 not two and I got a chat request and a bitching out (in all good humor). I think I played most of monday in private party as different people joined in to ask me wtf I was doing on it.

Funny thing is though, when I first got on it, there were already people at like level 60 something.

I like it. Maps are crazy small and close quarters though.

I'm passing on it. Black Ops left a hell of a sour taste in my mouth and I think I'm done with the franchise till this goes into the bargain bin.

Saints Row 3 and Ultimate MvC3 are the only other games I'm looking at this year....then next year the bastardisation of Max Payne 3 (crime noir in tropical Brazil) and GTA5.

Finished the campaign and returned it for gamestop's 'full refund if returned within 7 days' policy.

From a story point of view, Soap dying while Price lives seems stupid. The way their roles were structured between all the games made it seem like the torch was being passed to Soap and then all of a sudden you're in control of the old bastard who was never playable at all in the series and finish the overarching storyline from the 3 games with him.

And map design sucked. It was messy and seemed way too unorganized for my liking. As a guy who didn't like Black Ops I can say Black Ops was a much better game than this.

I do, thanks for caring. I got the game early and I play with a team so we usually get good experience. Also if you play domination or kill confirm you get more bang for your buck in XP than in just team death.

trolling aside, as for the game I think that the bullet damage is a bit too high. It's great when you have a good host connection, but if you don't the game feels like you are the other team is playing with hardcore rules and you are playing regular rules. I think I've only turned "red" from being wounded about six times total the entire time I've played.

I don't think I've played a modern military FPS since Battlefield 2 and I don't think I'm missing much.





Besides I have Borderlands to satisfy my "shoot shit in the face" urges.

A new Battlefront game would be nice though. Hint, hint Lucasarts

I think I'll wait until the price drops on this. I bought Elder Scrolls V and pre-ordered Halo instead yesterday.
