This kind of sucked.

Loeb was typical Loeb. The Yin and Yang story was boring.

Dr. Strange's story was pretty good. The Ultron story was another post apocalyptic one trick pony. The Kaine story was meh. The X-Terminated is hopefully prophetic.

I was intrigued by Brubaker's overall story.

I enjoyed the Scarlet Spider story the most, which I expected. Really looking forward to the ongoing next year.

He was pretty awesome in Spider-Island. That whole story was reason to get over previous Spidey biases.

I don't know, I haven't been able to pick up a Spiderman comic since the Norman banged Gwen and she spit out two kids story.

I know what you mean. After Sins Past, I was very sporadic on what Spidey titles I would read and then after One More Day, I dropped every Spidey title except for Ultimate Spider-Man. I picked up Amazing Spider-Man for Spider-Island on a whim and I am glad I did. It didn't completely repair the damage that I feel has been done to the character but it did renew my faith in the direction he is taking.

Now, as far as Point One is concerned:

As much as I HATE this new Nova costume I am slightly indifferent about his arc in this comic. If it is Richard Rider, then he shouldn't have that much trouble fending off Terrax. I am intrigued by involving Nova with the return of the Phoenix but I need more information before I can really decide which side of the fence I am on.

I was not the biggest fan of the art in the Age of Apocalypse story but I am intrigued by the concept. Plus, AoA Sabretooth is on the cover to the first issue of the AoA ongoing so that will be a definite buy for me.

I will give the new Scarlet Spider a chance based on how much I enjoyed Spider-Island, the Point One arc was fun, and I really enjoyed the art.

I am going to pass on the twins story line because it never interested me enough to want more. I am just not interested in these twins or learning more about them or this Taiji Corporation.

The Dr. Strange arc was interesting and the art really drew me in. I wasn't planning on picking up the Defenders but now I want to at least pick up the first arc.

Finally, the Ultron story looks more like an issue of Ultimates then a 616 story but that has more to do with Hitch's art. I admit, with Acuna on art and Storm joining the team, I was not going to get the Avengers but I am very interested in what brings about this Ultron arc.

Worst. Looking. Nova. EVER! Seriously someone take away Loebs Computer. I'm not sure who the artist on that was but they should retire. I see that they aren't even gonna try and explain how he got out of the cancerverse. LAME.

The Twins story was interesting enough. I would have preferred a Cloak and Dagger story but I'll take it.

The Ultron story was great and pretty. I cant wait for that one.

The Dr Strange story was well ... Strange. I liked it though.

The less said about Scarlet Spider the better, even if the story was kinda interesting. Bland but interesting.

AoA story was the one I thought was the best. Something about all those characters being heroes instead of the villains that we normally know them as. I think it has potential.

I feel that I just about got my money's worth from reading it in the shop. That story with the twins was especially poor.

Since Marvel doubled the order, my shop sold each issue for $1.99. So...I guess I got my money's worth...although the more I think about it, the more I think Marvel owes me for the bad Nova art and story.
