A solid issue, and one that confirms just how fucking bad-ass Ronan The Accuser is, especially after he got bitch-slapped by the Supreme Intelligence in this week’s Fantastic Four. In Annihilators at least, Ronan is nobody’s bitch. He even stood up to Captain America and made him look like a fool. I like how different the Magus threat is to how he was back in Guardians Of The Galaxy (although I liked him there as well) and the scene where 1/3rd of the US population got turned into Maguses (Magi?) was very well done. The Rocket Raccoon/Groot back-up was again hilarious, I loved all of the little action-figure advertisements.

Tan Eng Huat is fucking awful. So bad I just cannot enjoy the main story. Thank God the backup is so much fun.

I agree with punchy about Ronan, I'm loving what's being done with him in this series. Sadly I agree with Chap about the art, I'm not having as much of an adverse effect to it as he is, but it's not good and it is making it more difficult to enjoy what I'm reading.

And yes, the Magus is very creepy.

Those were my favourite parts of the back up story. :)

Yeah, the art makes the main story just tough to get through. I think Ms. Marvel had Beta Ray Bill's face in one panel.

I'm saving the RR/Groot story until all of it is out though, just to prolong my Marvel Cosmic experience.

was the art this bad in the first two issues?
it is completely pulling me out of the book so much that I stopped reading to post this

Image

this is just disgusting, and don't get me started on the Ikon / Valkyrie panel where it looks like Valkyrie is a male dwarf taking a dump
