It's X-Men vs. Avengers.

It's dumb...

[The story] begins [in April 2012] with an extinction-level event barreling its way toward Earth, namely the cosmic entity of death and rebirth known as the Phoenix Force. It’s looking for a new host who will possess all of its power, which may or may not be the mutant teenager Hope Summers.

Cyclops, Wolverine, Magneto and the other X-Men want to protect her and prepare her if she’s to be the new Phoenix. Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man and their fellow Avengers want her handed over to them so they can figure out what to do with her and keep the world safe from a potentially fiery fate.

Suffice it to say, tensions — and fisticuffs — arise.

So Storm JUST joined the Avengers and now she's fighting them? From that picture Logan's on the Avengers side, can't tell what side beast is on (more than likely the Avengers though)

I'm interested in the X-Men vs the Avengers side of things but I think Phoenix has been done to death.

Still, I think I'm more interested than not on the whole.

It's a very simple concept, but it's a good one, and it's title is basic enough that it should draw in a shit-ton of new readers.

Plus it's written by some of my favourite writers and drawn by some top-class artists, this is a big plus for me.
