Matt Fraction and Terry Dodson relaunch Marvel's non-team, and it looks to me like being one of the debuts of the year, I'm expecting good stuff from you this week people!

Holy shit this had pretentious, hipster douchebag flowing through it like it was a blog post by that Ryan Conklin douche that Nacireman thinks about when he waxes his pole. That's not to say it was awful. There were some good part like Iron Fist and the Silver Surfer, but Fraction was acting a bit too "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" with his Portland buddies. Things like the little notes at the bottom and most of Dr. strange's dialogue was grating.

Also, can they pick a font where the P's don't look like D's?

Based on the preview pages I've seen, I don't understand how the art is a 5. It looks very good to me. Are the layouts hard to follow or are the panels cluttered?

I'm being a bit harsh on the art because of the story and because I expect more from the Dodsons. They are usually great, not just very good.

Oh, okay. I was worried that maybe it ended up being overly cluttered. Some team books are a mess, with characters packed into every corner of every panel.

Yeah I know, it surprised the hell out of me too. The store only got two copies for some reason and they were both gone by the time I got there. They said they're getting more as soon as they can. It seemed pretty clear that I wasn't the only one who was looking for it.
