personally; I think some of you guys reviewing the reviews need to realize the same thing any reviewer does and that is you are just one opinion. You can see from the "What Outhousers are saying" that I've done that opinion varies and in the end doesn't mean a whole lot. If you have real knowledge of the process and actually have something constructive though; I don't see why people don't PM the author instead of starting a public discussion about the review in the thread. I guess to me, the thread is about the subject of the article, not one or two opinions on how they think it should be written.

Nice write up.

Despite the bad writing I was really into this show for 6-7 episodes. Then I don't know it really lost me for some reason. The house was cool but the main characters were so stupid and the main plot weak it really made it hard to care. Maybe I'll check out the first ep of next year.

The flashbacks to the house are pretty cool but the modern stuff is largely bad and some shit is really stupid.

I loved the show. At the end of every episode I would almost forget it was an hour long tv episode and expect it to go on longer. And why is is every evil child is blonde? God that was a creepy end.

I just watched the finale myself and really enjoyed it.

SPOILERS!!!!!!

When practically the entire original cast is killed off at the end of the season you have to admit it's original for television.

Not every evil child. Omen the kid had black hair. But yea every time an episode ended I expected it to keep going.

True, I almost forgot about the Omen. And the girl from The Ring. Those have to be the scariest non-blonde children. Is it me or has there been more movies involving kids in horror lately?

Kids are always great for horror. Supernatural had an entire season where lilith was a child and she was super creepy, and thats on top of the episodes they did where children were evil.
