The Source revealed that the back-up stories in Detective Comics will feature Two-Face and the creative team behind it will be done by current series writer Tony Daniels and Szymon Kudranski (Spawn).

Staring with #8, Two-Face will get a ten page side story. Daniels has said in the DCU article: “I’m going deep into the character of Harvey Dent and the inner conflicts and demons he must confront. I’m approaching the characters and story the way I would a multi-layered psychological thriller, one that covers a man at the losing end of a battle within himself.”

They may not even finish The Shade, I think it's extremely unlikely they'll revisit Ragman.

I thought the Snyder thing was going to be in both books. This makes me happy that I was wrong.

I don't think a Two-Face back-up is going to do much in getting the non-Hardcore Batman fans to shill out the extra cash to buy the book. At least not with a lesser-known artist attached to the project.

What DC should do with these back-ups is get some better-known artists who might not have the time to do a full-time book, but can do an 8-10 page story for a period of time.

yeah, that's a great way to justify an extra dollar on the price point...TWO badly written stories by Daniel instead of one! i'm sure sold.

Not to mention the last time Daniels handed Two-Face he made the Streets of Gotham back-up story seem like it was the Long Halloween compared to it. The story was that bad. Damn.. first One-Face and now this. DC sure has it in for Greg.
