I'll bet that if Didio's name wasn't on the credits more people would buy it.

You're not interested in China Mieville taking on a concept like Dial H For Hero? Wow.

Anyway, the front page won't let me log in, otherwise I would write up the full scoop, but here it is:

No idea who that is. Dial H as a concept is great but the last series sucked donkey dick so I'll wait on see on that but honestly other then Batman Inc nothing really grabs me.

I try to forget that ever happened.

He's a Science Fiction author. One of the best I've ever read, in fact. Check him out on Amazon, and you'll see the type of thing he writes.

I'd prefer to see Huntress is something more like this:

As great and fun as the series is, still have to point and go HA HA! to the h8rs who complained that the book would get a golden ticket just because Didio was one of the writers on it.

i'm all in for Batman, Inc. and Earth 2. never a huge fan of Huntress or PG, or Levitz, and the concept doesn't sound that great either, but Perez and Maguire...i'm in for that alone. Dial H is something i've always thought was a TERRIFIC wish-fulfillment/superhero concept that somehow always failed in execution, but i'll give Mieville a shot to impress...probably a digital purchase. if Combat had a Haunted Tank lead by Graymiotti, i'd be all over it, but Time Forgot...by Krul?? no thanks. and fuck Ravagers.

Agreed, agreed, my thoughts exactly, agreed (except for the digital part, I'm still being a luddite), agreed and amen.

World's Finest may have been announced, but it will actually come out in Wave 4 when Perez is done with it.

The books getting canceled sucked so this is possibly an improvement, but Howard Mackie? The fucking cronyism never ends at DC.

Well, Perez has a head start and is doing alternating arcs with Kevin Maguire, so it should work out.

My guess is don't look for Perez to be on the title for long. He just doesn't seem to have the speed or stamina.

Remember that Zechs thread in which we all debated who the next Harras guy to show up at DC would be? I think we all win for picking Howard Mackie as the consensus pick.
