My mom keeps at least 2-3 different kinds of scotch in her place. Right now she has a bottle of McClellands Islay, a big bottle of Glenfiddich and a bottle of Glenfarclas.
I have stomach ulcers so I can't drink

I will agree that if you're gonna get Johnny Walker, you should get the Black (Green and Blue are too expensive, and I've had the Blue, and didn't think it was anything special), but Red is better than Ballentines or something like that, but my favorite blend is probably Chivas Regal. I am a super scotch drinker. I've had it all. I would have to say that the MacCallen is one of my current favorites. I used to love Laphroiag, but I got sick of its unique smoked peat flavour. Here is a list of Single Malt Scotch's I've had (that I can remember):
Balvenie
Dalmore
Glenfiddich
Glenlivet
Laphroaig
MacCallan
and here is a list of Blendeds that I've had (that I can remember):
Ballentine's
Black Grouse
Chivas Regal
Cutty Sark
Dewars
Famous Grouse (currently in my liquor cabinet)
J&B's
Johnny Walker (Red, Black & Blue)
I love Scotch. I'll always have one big ass bottle of Scotch and one big ass bottle of Whisky (either Irish or Kentucky) in my liquor cabinet. But even though Scotch is a type of whisky, it is a completely different animal. The taste, the feel, the drunkeness it gives you, and the way to drink it.
