I specifically said that he was a man that made mistakes. But if you want to go on arguing with points that no one here has even brought up, then by all means do so. Personally I think you have a problem with media portrayal, which has never been the issue in this thread.

What facts? That this only happened once? Unless you are attached to the hip to JoePa then you have no idea what was going on there. The only fact we have is that there was an incident in 2002, 3 years after Sandusky left PSU. You have no idea what happened before then. I don't claim to know either, but, hey, when a man making six figures is Shitsville, PA is living next to a school and always hangs around young people, it looks a little shady.

To college football fans he may be rememberd for his legacy of being a solid coach and all the help that provided students which Frag posted.

To the majority of the people in this country who've never heard the name Joe Paterno until this ugly incident he'll always be remembered in a negative light.

Who can say what is true or isn't true? It doesn't really matter in the face of the public conscioussness, he witnessed something bad happen and whatever he did wasn't enough. The man was free for years to terrorize other children, which is truly sad.
