That is an issue. The series is showing her to be Helena B so far, but the hint long ago was that she isn't who she thinks she is. In other words, she's actually Helena Wayne from Earth-2, much like Mr. Terrific's Karen Starr is Power Girl from Earth-2, (though the odds are she knows who she is).

Amnesia from the travel between worlds? Who knows how they're going to resolve that one.

More like amnesia from having your universe f ked up by Barry Allen and Pandora the Hooded Chick.

Sadly, most of the 90's Marvel crew could get their scripts done in time. Unlike JMS, Kevin Smith, et al.

If Earth2 Huntress is an adult daughter of Batman and Catwoman, maybe they could make Power Girl the adult daughter of Superman and another hero or villain as well, instead of having her be an adult, bustier Supergirl.

I don't know, judging from the latest Levtiz stuff on DC's site, there's something weird going on with PG and possibly Hunts back on Earth 2---their identities, (he doesn't say secret or public), aren't the same as they are normally. So who knows?

It just seems to me that if you are trying to go for a simpler DCU, having an older, alternate Earth version of a character starring in their own book running around as well. If anyone in the DCU has had the most convoluted origins, it's Power Girl. Just simplify it and make her Superman's kid instead.

How is being the E-2 Superman's daughter any less convoluted from being the E-2 Superman's cousin?

And Supergirl's origin is way more convoluted than Power Girl's, if you really want to get down to it.

It sounds to me like replacing canceled titles with titles likely to be canceled in their place.

Not bad, though. It's always nice to give smaller characters a shot, even if it doesn't last. World's Finest sounds intriguing.

Well, part of the point of the reboot is that things like that last bit never happened. She's likely now just the E2 Supergirl, cousin of Superman.

The sad thing is that they're not even giving more books to the good 90's writers like DeMatteis. He was one of the bright spots of the 90's and Howard Mackie is first in line for a career revival.

I'll be honest and admit that I had liked most of the Pre-Crisis Earth-2 stories so Earth-2 and World Finest appeal to me.
