I collect pictures / photos / paintings of astronauts, but in odd settings
-like instead of in space, on a farm, ex.

It's an odd collection, but I had an uncle that died in the space program. It just kinda grew from that.

I'd be interested to see your take on something like that!

ok so Jon Requested Hellshock when I sat down last night that's what I was gonna do, but my goddamn housemate kept bugging me so what came out was a lot more abstract then I intended. I'm gonna try anther pass at it tonight

yeah I like the idea I drew a astronaut a few weeks back that I had a lot of fun doing

That Hellshock piece looks more like Deathblow to me, but that's not necessarily bad.

I would have put the neck and possibly some hint of the shoulders to frame the face better.
