I know what I'm going to pick (something I've seen and own on DVD), but my pick doesn't come up for a pretty long time, so I'll probably forget and end up picking something else.

Actually just watched it a few weeks ago. It's pretty good... I guess.
Problem is I saw it shortly after reading the book so it suffered from too much comparison.

Yep.

Chances are you'll see a movie you've seen before. The idea of that is to see if it holds up, if it's as good as you remember, etc.
