2. I think I like the first one best, the colors, the composition. The only think I don't like is the whitish area in front of her face. I don't know that it would have been better to have the bg elements not be interrupted in that way.

Really makes me want to draw.

For some reason, I think it looks like Obama.

I do like this piece, particularly the bust. I think what might have worked better here is to treat the whole canvas with a color and then paint on it. The white parts (outside of the bust) bother me a little. It feels as if it's unfinished because of it. But again, I like the centerpiece quite a bit.

I agree with painting the whole canvas but I just work to fast and don't think ahead enough to do stuff like that

This has a real disturbing quality to it. Nice. Something very visceral.

You know what I think you should try in a piece? Just Van Gogh the shit out of a piece. I assume you're working with acrylics. I'd really like to see you layer a piece. Get some thickness to the canvas. I just think it's something that you could pull off (and something I lack the craziness to do myself).
