Since we're doing a top ten fav Marvel films:

1.) Iron Man
2.) Thor
3.) X2
4.) Captain America
5.) Blade
6.) Incredible Hulk
7.) Iron Man 2
8.) Blade 2
9.) Spider-Man 2
10.) X-Men: First Class
Honorable Mention: Doctor Strange.. okay Doctor Mordrid but hey this looks like a thinly placed Strange movie with the perfect actor to play Stephen:

It amazes me how Rami's Spider-Man movies age badly. The origin is done good, but Tobey just is so boring as Spider-Man. Dafoe carried the first movie as Molina/Franco carried the second. Then for #3 the reason it's such a mess is because no one really carries that film. Franco, Simmons, and the brief glimpse of Venom are the only reason I watch parts of it. I watch the freaking special features of the dvd about the characters more than the actual film.

Worse Marvel films:

10.) X3
9.) Fantastic Four
8.) Ghost Rider
7.) Captain America (90s though I do enjoy the first thirty minutes after the WW II part the movie loses me)
6.) Hulk
5.) Wolverine Origins
4.) Captain America and Captain America II (They cast the greatest actor for that era to play Cap and not once do they make Reb Brown yell or kill people. CURSE YOU HOLLYWOOD!!!)
3.) Elektra
2.) Blade Trinity
1.) Spider-Man 3

Really Spider-Man 3 is worse than Elektra? You can honestly say that? I don't like the movie either but that's some Zechsian logic if I ever saw it.

Yeah the climax of Rhodey and Tony just combining repulsor beams to kill Whiplash was lame. A lot of comic movies seem to have that problem. I thought the Incredible Hulk had the best villain hero fight of the Marvel movies.

not even a close second really. Hulk-Abomination was fucking awesome.

Yep. Okay let me put it to you this way Mr. Burton. I had high hopes for Spider-Man 3 and Blade Trinity. Upon seeing these two films however, it was like seeing those hopes put in a paper bag and then smashed on the floor repetitively leaving the movie a mess.

I had no hope at all for Elektra. None. Zero. I cared nothing for it going in. And cared not going out. That's why the other two films rank higher than it. Tobey was absolutely horrible in the movie and when I'm more appealed by James Franco's Harry more.. then the movie is doing it wrong.

Also that fucking Butler.

That butler of Harry's pissed me off. The moment he says he knew Norman was the Goblin and evil I just paused the movie went up to the screen and yelled, "WHY DIDN'T YOU FUCKING TELL HARRY THIS IN SPIDER-MAN 2 AND SAVE HIMSELF THE DAMN PSYCHOLOGICAL HARM IT CAUSED HIM!!" I then unpaused and then was pissed again that Harry's next words weren't, "Dude you're fired. Your ass is SOOOOO fired." Followed by him taking that freaking butler and dumping him off the balcony.

I know right? That is the biggest plot point to EVER piss me off when watching a movie. The butler was there in 2, and even commented how much Harry was acting like his father. WELL YOU FUCKING RETARD THAT'S BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T TELL HIM HIS FATHER WAS A PARANOID NUTCASE!! Seriously watching that butler in those Spider-Man films pisses me off. Because I think back to 3 and that fucking scene and was keep telling myself, "WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU TELL HARRY THEN AND NOT NOW?!" That's why #3 is so bad. It ruins the other films even more. That is why in Butler ranking there's:

GOD TIER with Alfred and HOW THE FUCK DID THEY GET THIS JOB TIER?! with the Osborn Butler from Rami's Spider-Man Trilogy.

Reasons I'm excited:

Peter is finally sarcastic, there's at least 3 scenes of him cracking wise in the suit

The suit, seems like he won't be ripping that damn mask off every 5 seconds

WEBSHOOTERS!!!!

The science side of the character seems to be at play a lot more

Average guy, not muscular due to the bite

Only negative to me so far: No daily bugle.

Also How Spider-Man 3 Should Have Ended touches every SINGLE REASON I HATE Spider-Man 3:

The fact they do what I wanted in the damn movie in firing that asshole butler makes it the best should have ended parody.

Maybe was an insidious plan of the butler to let Harry go to the deep end just to make the reveal at a point when the guilt he would fell led him to kill himself and become the sole heir of the whole Osborn fortune and the Goblin identity and legacy which he would alter slightly becoming a criminal master mind and style himself as THE HOBGOBLIN.

It's very difficult for me to rate the Marvel movies.

Cap would probably be my favorite, so many great scenes and moments. The scene at the end with Howard Stark looking for him is very touching.

Spider-man 2 though is such a great film and has my favorite character in it.

Beyond that it's a crap shoot really, X2, First Class, the Iron Man movies, Incredible Hulk, Thor all great films.

I am a bit surprised that you guys like Blade II so much, I hated it when I saw it in the theatres, but I haven't given it a reviewing since then. Perhaps I'll have to give it another try.
