http://tformers.com/transformers-hasbro ... /news.html

Hasbro has just sent out a statement regarding the recent cancellation of the Transformers Prime First Edition figures for the United States, apologizing for the issues and they will be working to find ways to get the unreleased figures to market.

"Regrettably...the Transformers Prime First Edition Wave 2 Deluxe, Wave 1 Voyager, and Entertainment Pack figures were posted in pre-sale in error" to their retailers in the U.S., Hasbro says in their statement.

"Final product was not produced for these figures to ship within the U.S.," they continued.

As we have already heard from multiple Tformers users, Big Bad Toy Store, TFSource, and Entertainment Earth were forced to shift pre-orders of First Edition figures to the mass release Robots In Disguise toys, sometimes taking a loss due to the higher prices of the R.I.D. assortments.

However, not all is in vein: Hasbro says that they have heard the fan community and "while we can't confirm anything at this time, and the format in which these figures are packaged and distributed may chance, the team is looking into ways to make these available at a later date in the U.S."

The release of the unreleased First Edition figures are a "top priority for the [Transformers] team," Hasbro says.

The statement in its entirety is available below:

TRANSFORMERS fans,

As we greatly value our TRANSFORMERS fans and consumers, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify and explain the current situation with TRANSFORMERS PRIME First Edition figure availability in the U.S.

We very much apologize for the miscommunication with our great retailers in the U.S. Regrettably, as a result, the TRANSFORMERS PRIME First Edition Wave 2 Deluxe, Wave 1 Voyager and Entertainment Pack figures were posted for pre-sale in error. Final product was not produced for these figures to ship within the U.S. As such, any consumer who placed a pre-sale order with Big Bad Toy Store or Entertainment Earth in the U.S. received a note that their order had been cancelled and these orders will not be fulfilled. While it is common for Hasbro to cancel production and/or shipment of collectible figures prior to being listed for pre-sale, this particular situation was unique. We deeply regret this circumstance and understand your frustration.

We would also like to express that we hear the fan community in the U.S. loud and clear – you want these specific TRANSFORMERS PRIME First Edition figures. While we can’t confirm anything at this time, and the format in which these figures are packaged and distributed may change, the team is looking into ways to make these available at a later date in the U.S. and will keep the fan community and our retailers posted as opportunities develop. We want to make this right, and making these figures available to the U.S. fans is a top priority for the team. We greatly appreciate your understanding and ongoing enthusiasm for the brand and hope in the mean time, you enjoy the TRANSFORMERS PRIME figures that are hitting shelves now and in the coming weeks.

Regards,
The TRANSFORMERS Team

In other words.. you're going to have to wait until the summer and they'll be exclusives to some store.

http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode= ... 00&start=0

- Movie line hits shelves in early June. The movie opens June 29 (Official May 30). There will be 50 figures including those with vehicles and 4 additional comic con exclusives including those sold with vehicles. 9 vehicles + 1 additional Comic Con exclusive.

- Wave 1 was on shelf June. Roadblock, Snake-Eyes, Cobra Commander, Duke, Storm Shadow, Zartan, GIJoe Trooper, Cobra Trooper, Red Ninja

- Wave 2 in July with movie accurate sculpts. Battle-Kata Roadblock, Firefly with no mask and scar and Flint with Beret. Firefly actually will have 2 different heads and a sled. Ninja Duel Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow inspired by 1988 Camouflage version. These two will have ankle articulation.

- Wave 3 August will have Joe Colton (Bruce Willis) and Lady Jaye. also have Alley Viper, Cobra Ninja and Dragon Ninja.

- Wave 4 in September, Kim Arashikage (Jinx in Yellow) and Blind Master. They can't call the figure Jinx.

- Wave 5 in October will have Crimson Guard and Night Viper. Crimson Guard will have decals you can use to change rank and affiliation. Looks pretty sweet.

- Ninja Showdown Sets - Wave 2 will have Joe Night Ops with Agent Mouse, Night Ops Snake-Ees and Sgt Airborne (looks like Kwin with a mask) and Cobra Invasion Team with Fire Fly with mask, Storm Shadow and Cobra Invasion Trooper.

- Vehicles - Ninja Speed Cycle with Snake-Eyes with launching front wheel. Brovo has the Cobra Fangboat and Ninja Commando 4x4 with Snake-Eyes

- Tread Ripper with Clutch is part of Bravo wave 2. The Delta wave 1 will include Ghost Hawk II with zipline function and HISS Tank which is movie accurate
apparently. It comes with Cobra Commander. There is a lifesize version they hope to have on display at Joecon.

- 10" Ninja Commandos - Ninja Commando Roadblock and Snake-Eyes out in June. Each one has a vest that has everything they need to combat evil. They have a fluid style of interchangeable weapons.

- Role-Play items like Battle-Kata and Blade of Justice. Ninja Chucks will be out in August and Ninja Commando Blaster and Snake-Eye Nunja Gear which will be out in June. Look for Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow and a generic Joe mask.

- SDCC Kim Arashikage (Jinx) red and white versions as well as the GIJoe/Transformers crossover will be Shockwave HISS which will come with a Destro and B.A.T figure. The B.A.T. will be in a Constructicon deco.

Is that the same or a different Nova?

I like the baghead spidey but for some reason he looks way too muscular.

Same Nova they've been wanting to release. I think they're reusing the old Johnny Storm mold for Bag head Spidey.

I hope there is an Avengers Lego game.
However, Liefeld is an enigma wrapped in a pouch-filled, muscular, footless conundrum.

I was wondering about that too but right now to my knowledge TT has Batman 2 and Lord of the Rings on their plate, so maybe not until next?
