Cap would probably be my favorite, so many great scenes and moments. The scene at the end with Howard Stark looking for him is very touching.

Spider-man 2 though is such a great film and has my favorite character in it.

Beyond that it's a crap shoot really, X2, First Class, the Iron Man movies, Incredible Hulk, Thor all great films.

I am a bit surprised that you guys like Blade II so much, I hated it when I saw it in the theatres, but I haven't given it a reviewing since then. Perhaps I'll have to give it another try.

It gets better given all the stupid sparkling vampire crap that's flying around nowadays. Plus the final fight between Nomak and Blade is just so brutal and you really pushes the hero to the limit. Not to mention feels almost something out of a kung fu film. Also the ending is so kick ass and hilarious:

Maybe was an insidious plan of the butler to let Harry go to the deep end just to make the reveal at a point when the guild he would fell led him to kill himself and become the sole heir of the whole Osborn fortune and the Goblin identity and legacy which he would alter slightly become a criminal master mind and style himself as THE HOBGOBLIN.

Yep. Okay let me put it to you this way Mr. Burton. I had high hopes for Spider-Man 3 and Blade Trinity. Upon seeing these two films however, it was like seeing those hopes put in a paper bag and then smashed on the floor repetitively leaving the movie a mess.

I had no hope at all for Elektra. None. Zero. I cared nothing for it going in. And cared not going out. That's why the other two films rank higher than it. Tobey was absolutely horrible in the movie and when I'm more appealed by James Franco's Harry more.. then the movie is doing it wrong.

Also that fucking Butler.

That butler of Harry's pissed me off. The moment he says he knew Norman was the Goblin and evil I just paused the movie went up to the screen and yelled, "WHY DIDN'T YOU FUCKING TELL HARRY THIS IN SPIDER-MAN 2 AND SAVE HIMSELF THE DAMN PSYCHOLOGICAL HARM IT CAUSED HIM!!" I then unpaused and then was pissed again that Harry's next words weren't, "Dude you're fired. Your ass is SOOOOO fired." Followed by him taking that freaking butler and dumping him off the balcony.

It's been almost 5 years since it came out and I totally forgot about that part. God that did suck. I can see what your saying though. Spider-Man 3 definitely was more a let down for me than Elektra. I knew that movie was shit before watching it and it just confirmed my expectations.

As a movie start to finish it's still worse to me than Spider-Man 3(like Troll 2 is worse Super Mario Bros. both suck but one slightly more) but I understand where you're coming from.

Exactly. Elektra you went in knowing this would be a suckfest. The only thing you could hope for is some nice bouncing from Jen Garner and MAYBE Shang Tsung saying, "YOUR SOUL IS MINE!!"

But it doesn't make me rage with so much fury like Spider-Man 3 does. I cannot watch Spider-Man 3. It just collects dust while the extras get more play than the actual movie.

You know what? Replace Spider-Man 2 and put Punisher: Warzone. That movie was far more entertaining and I didn't have to skip anything.

Action scenes look good. Costume looks horrible. The web shooters sound like a camera flash. Oh and as others pointed out... AGAIN, running around unmasked... wtf? :smt011

Was the DD Director's Cut good?

What are the differences?

It was way better than the theater release. It was actually cohesive in plot and made more sense, feeling like a real movie. I was surprised.

No, I believe I said they looked a little obtrusive.

I was never pissed about organic webshooters nor do I mind that he actually builds them.

I'm indifferent on the webshooters. Hate the costume though. Not that I'm attached to the original but surprisingly enough it looked good on screen. This one is trying too hard to be different and in particular I don't like the eyes. I like that they're focusing the origin story more on Peter's parents' secret past because it's less known outside of the comic book fans then the one Raimi retold.
