Yeah, that costume was awesome for that character when they finally embraced that he/it was basically a Kryptonian security system for the Fortress of Solitude.

Was Supergirl the first costume design to do that? I always liked Eradicator's costume, just thought it needed tweaking (no yellow Cyclops glasses, lose the black stripe).
It was as far as I can recall. I think that design also began with the Supergirl film and was then adopted for the comics. It was an early design that they ended up not using in the movie.

Batman looks like he's wearing one of those stupid "tuxedo" T-shirts.

Batman looks good.
Wonder Woman looks better in armor than in her traditional "bikini" costume.
Superman looks wrong.

Why doesn't anyone at DC realize that the silver in WW's costume makes it look dull and boring, It just leeches any brightness or color from the red and blue portions of the costume.

It sounds cliche', but I like the idea of Diana wearing gold, Donna wearing silver and Cassie wearing bronze or copper.

Artemis can wear the colour of participation.

She never worked as one of the Wonder Women, and the point of her being in the costume was just to be a stand-in/death target for the prophecy Hippolyta saw. I like the character, but she's better as her own person.

Ever time I think I liked that run, I remember that Diana had to get a job in fast food.

If you want it too. She's got to be doing something these days in the 52.

According to
this site the outfit came first in the book, but the Producers of the Supergirl movie later requested the headband because that was in their prototype of the movie outfit.
