My Dad just gave me X-Men the Dark Phoenix Saga, Batman Black and White, and Star Trek Year 4.

The Dark Phoenix Saga! That one is great.

Tbh both the cartoon an dc's d&d comics sucked hard.

Completely agree. This was excellent. Very fun action and dialogue. You don't really need to be a D&D fan to enjoy this (I'm not). But if you are, this book even comes with it's own "module" which lets you play the story. Great story, great extras and great production values. This is well worth the price of admission. The second volume is more of the same goodness too.

Great to know a fellow admirer of this book.

But I was a fan of the cartoon when I was a kid.

Today I read We3. 40 minutes was all it took. I'm not a Frank Quietly fan, but I must admit this one is gorgeous.

Grant weaved a sweet, but fucking depressing story, old yeller style.

You should. You also have a sweet tooth for Grant Morison and you'll love this one.

Just got the 100 Bullets Absolute edition vol. 1. Going to get the "Black Mirror" hardcover by Snyder today.

Feels good to have money again after long-term unemployment screwed me over.

Deluxe edition with #'s 1-19. My bad

Easy mistake given the size of the thing.

I was skeptical about them being able to wrap this up satisfactorily in a single volume, but Ostrander nailed it. Great finish, I hope they go back to this period eventually.
