Droids gone bad? Artoo becomes SkyNet and rip the face off the Terminator and you get... 3PO?! |

He's one of the best parts of the movie. Why shouldn't he? Plus it's a sly way to get people interested in the Clone Wars since.. Maul's showing up in the season finale in March. |

Ahmed Best (Jar Jar) has an interesting feature on him in the newest entertainment weekly. | ||

I have a problem with Darth Maul, I dislike him a lot and I found him to be a very boring character. Now do not get me wrong I know he has a huge fan base and I'm not one to criticize others if they like something just because I do not. (at least I try.) My issue with Maul was visually he was very cool, and choreographed with some great fights, but at the end of it all he was a paper thin thug. Hardly any dialog, or really any other semblance of what a Sith is, a thug is not my idea of the sith code. Also he was on screen for what maybe 5 to 10 minutes at most, yet he was the best thing that came out of the movie? Sure when Star Wars came on Vader has about as much screen time but there was much more character developed into him in those few minutes that blows away any time Maul had on screen. Maybe Clone Wars will give him some more justice than I thought he got in Episode 1. I'm watching the show with my son so I'll let you know. ![]() |

I have not read it yet, but it looked like it was pretty interesting. |

I liked him for what he was. Just a tool. An instrument by Palpatine to use. He wasn't an equal. However I just went with Maul accepted his pawn status and went with it. He was only an instrument of rage. |

Sounds like you see a lot of yourself in him. |

You do know that they did not use David Prowse's voice for Vader right? |

David Prowse David Prowse stunt double (a significant portion of screen time) James Earl Jones (voice) Sebastian Shaw (briefly in RotJ) Jake Lloyd (kid) Hayden (adult) Even if you drop the last three it takes three people to bring him to life. And Maul is pretty similar because you have Ray Park to physically be Maul and Peter Serafinowicz to do the voice. |

He was also voiced by Mat Lucas in the '03 Clone Wars microseries and Matt Lanter in the current Clone Wars series. Not sure about the videogames, but that's two more. |
