I had no interest in Lieberman's speech, mostly due to the new 90210. But I also knew that there was NO WAY he was going to top Zell Miller's "Goddamn Batman" speech. My god that speech was awesome on so many levels, including the part where he challenged Chris Matthews to a duel.

Everyone would be against it because Korea is right by China :?

He voted for Bosnian involvement too. He always votes for military budgets.

He's been anti-castro.

He's not just shown support for Israel and the rest of the time been a dove. Far from it.

Not necessarily. He cares about violence in video games. Besides, what makes you think that he only cares for Israel?

He votes with the republicans on foreign issues. I think (only think and do not know) that he votes with them to keep the bad guys from over-running the middle east so that Israel will not have to worry about all the countries in the middle east bulldozing down their homes as they've done to the Palestinians.

"This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces? U.S. forces armed with what? SPIT BALLS?!?"

Great speech.

I have a HUGE problem with this. The government shouldn't be telling us what games we can and can't play. I'm 35 years old, goddamn it, I don't need a babysitter. Last night I was playing "The Witcher" on the PC - the game is graphic in both violence and sexuality. When I was done playing I didn't feel the need to go out and rape someone and behead them when I was done.

Yeah. I don't agree with him on that, but I still think he's good people.
