Are there any full on steampunk live action movies apart from the craptastic Wild Wild West abortion?

Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow was great.
Golden Compass movie was decent.

Both have definite steampunk elements, not sure that either would qualify as "pure steampunk", if such a thing even exists. Maybe it does exist but I don't know the genre well enough to properly identify it.

Perdido Street Station by China Mieville is one of the next books I'm gonna read, when I get through with what I'm reading now. I've heard good things.

I like it, but the scheduling is crap. Still, the art is nice, and the story is good so far.

...The next one was like a weird-west steampunk story that absolutely crossed genres. The Half-Made World, by Felix Gilman. It was a good novel, with potential to be great. It's a very difficult novel to describe. It's not set on Earth, but rather a world that is still in the process of being...constructed out of nothing. There are two great powers in this continually growing world: the Line, and the Gun. Order and chaos, basically...

Just picked this up from the library based on this. Sounds great.

There was a show in the (almighty) 90's called The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., which definitely contains some SP elements, but I don't know if the scenesters accept it as 'official' or whatever.

The show was great, ran 22 episodes, and had Bruce Campbell in it, as well as Kelly Rutherford back when she was hawt.
