I was skeptical about them being able to wrap this up satisfactorily in a single volume, but Ostrander nailed it. Great finish, I hope they go back to this period eventually.

Gotta get this one. Can't wait to see how it ends.

TBH i liked it more then I thought I would. The art is good, the story is interesting enough. There are enough twists to keep it fresh and interesting, and a few cliches to keep it familiar.

Nothing groundbreaking but entertaining. I'll get vol 2.

I can't decide whether or not to ge the individual trades or to wait for the inevitable omnibus(es)

The trades are cheap, and the omnibusses might be a few years away.

I'd say so. I own 4 of the Creepy Archives (1-3 and 7) and 2 of the Eerie ones (1 and 4) and I'm on a mission to get the rest of them. The art is gorgeous and that's the real reason for owning them. The stories vary (as is true in any anthology). But the art is awesome (have I mentioned that?). For 50% off they're well worth it.

Gets better and better with each volume. As good as anything Vertigo is publishing right now.
