What would a world be like without Superman? Well I guess we'll never know since he shows up at the end and saves the world.

The whole story was build upon kriptonian technology. It was said that the Kents did not pick him, not that he did not exist.
To develop their conscience and consciousness, to make them aware of what is going on, to prepare the precarious ground for the future alternatives—this is our task: "our" not only as Marxists but as intellectuals, and that means all those who are still free and able to think by themselves and against indoctrination, communist as well as anticommunist.

Uh...I think you might have missed the point. It wasn't "What would the world be like without Superman?". It was more along the lines of "What if events had happened differently?". I get that at first blush that seems the same, but its really not.

JSA: the Golden Age
Moonshadow
Kraven's Last Hunt
Daredevil: Man Without Fear
Daredevil: Born Again
Sleeper
most any of the Sin City stuff, particularly A Dame to Kill For, That Yellow Bastard, and whatever the first one was (just Sin City, maybe?)
New Teen Titans: Judas Contract
Justice League: Heaven's Ladder
Flash: Return of Barry Allen
the Light Brigade
surprised rdrs hasn't said The Other Side yet
Starman -- whole thing

I was only mentioning the one book because I was surprised no one else had named it. Had I made multiple recommendations for Twigg's fake account, I definitely would have mentioned The Other Side. Such a great book. Probably still the best thing Aaron has done and one of my favorite things ever.

That's not Twigg, unless he moved to Germany.

I would have nien idea about how to set up a fake account.
You don't have to like me
You don't have to respect me
But you will LISTEN to me.

Setting up a fake account is probably way easier than acquiring an actual, real IP address from another country.

If I had the time I'd find the ads that literally said "A world without Superman". Seems pretty straightforward to me and...

...to make him the solution to the entire storyline not only makes the story fail on it's entire premise but also makes DC comics look pathetic by showing that their entire universe can't seem to survive without it's precious Superman.
