I know that, but surely there has to be more to a parody than a fairly slavish copy of the original with some sex added for good measure. I mean, he word 'parody' implies some amount of humour and/or satire.

Clearly, there doesn't.

Let's put it this way: If there was ANY possible legal recourse to stop these parodies, the porn companies would be getting sued left, right, and center. You know as well as I do that Time Warner wouldn't put up with the Super/Bat-porn parodies if they didn't have to.

Herald's right, there's a long line of case law supporting their rights to do so as long as consumers aren't being mislead--and in many cases the word "parody" is right there in the title of the porno.

That means you'd actually have to sit through the film and listen to the dialogue besides focusing on the sex scenes.

From what I've heard, they do a good job making jokes about the prequels while going through this one.

LOL well it is only the first film. They don't know they're related yet.

If they do parodies of the other two films, you know by Jedi at some point they'll have one of those "Wait we're related?" moments broken up by some reference to the Appalachian Mountains and their inhabitants therein.
