So you're not giving PAD the benefit of the doubt? Not every story arc is a home run and to expect that is simply unfair to the creative teams not to mention totally unrealistic. Stan and Jack had some duds too... but overall the quality of X-Factor has been very, very good.

Nobody loves me wrote:Same with Cap. Originally a great book, but from what I've heard about the book recently, it doesn't sound great at all. It certainly wasn't when I stopped reading it.

Wait... you stopped reading Cap? :smt017 Confusion time... methinks this is bitching for bitching sake. now as your story isn't consistent because originally you said:

Nobody loves me wrote:Caps being dropped

So you've dropped the book or not? :smt017

What it sounds like for Cap is you're basing your opinion on the book by what other people have said and not any kind of first hand knowledge.

Now before you say "but the people saying Cap isn't good are people I like" or "trust" or "have the same taste as me" it's still not the same as you reading the book and making up your own mind.

What are the good comics you feel are produced by Marvel and DC?

Let me throw a few in there:
Daredevil by Bendis and Brubaker
Fantastic Four by Waid and Ringo
Daredevil by Waid
Captain America by Brubaker
Amazing Spider-man for the last year or so (and many arcs since OMD)
Batman/Detective by Snyder
All Star Superman
Fables
X-Men Legacy by Carey

As I said in a previous post, not every story is AMAZING and there are duds... but there's more good than bad.

Seriously?

You said you were DROPPING IT (meaning you were still getting it) but then said you had DROPPED it (meaning you were not still getting it) and were basing your opinions on how good or bad on what other people TOLD YOU.

Yes, X-Factor has been the most consistent X-book since it started.

The only misfire was the Secret Invasion arc.

The last several arcs have been amazing. The book is building towards something awesome, and he's paying off on clues and hints he dropped near the start of his run.
