it's simple don't break the law and run from the cops and you won't get tased

I've somehow managed to make it 30 years without a cop trying to tase me
it's not like this woman was going to go cure cancer with her higher brain functions anyway

Loser breaks law over and over again, accident happens and criminal is now the victim.

In what sense? Because people want to ruin a guy's life because of an accident? It's true--that is pretty evil. He was just doing his job. He did not use excessive force, according to normal police procedure. Shit, even if he hadn't have used the taser, there's a chance she could have banged her head on the ground like that.

the cop probably should've stayed in better shape. he could've easily grabbed her in that case. nevertheless, he's not to blame for this incident and i feel sorry that the media will paint him as the villain here.

Let's say he did tackle her and landed on top of her as a result. She hits her head anyway and breaks a few ribs for good measure.

Now everyone's saying, don't the police have tasers? Why didn't they use that? Isn't the point of those things so that police don't have to manhandle suspects? Why does anyone think that a 200+ guy tackling 100-something little girl not result in real physical harm?
