Yes I have already been applying for jobs and I am not interested in PF Changs gift card panhandling.
Today I'm doing laundry and one of my former students is taking us out to dinner tonight(his insistance). I've already cleaned the kitchen and our bedroom. I think I'm going to finish the Wire this week and will keep up on some house work, also who wants to buy my comics? I think I want to sell all of them. Not too much thats special but I do have the first 110 issues of Fables and related material plus a bunch of other great books like most of the run of scalped.
I have my unemployment stuff submitted and Ashley wont have health insurance for another 9 days.
I've been given house work to do every day and I have no problem with that. The good news is there hasn't been any serious anxiety or depression yet so that's something. Also you guys need to step it up and keep me interested.

When I moved to this area, I was jobless for a month. When I wasn't interviewing or dropping off resumes (ugh, cold-calling), I watched the entire series run of Firefly.

I've been spending my days on here, Facebook, reading comics, watching movies/TV, and napping.

You could always do some volunteer work, perhaps in a relevant field.

I feel like this is always the best way to go.

When I was unemployed, I did some volunteer work. I tried to keep a schedule (which it looks like you're doing) but I still spent a hell of a lot of time on the internet. I tried to hang out with friends at least every other day and sent out five to ten applications a... day? It might have been a week. I have a crap memory.
I also took some classes in web design and i think this is when I started work on coloring Blud Blood. I was definitely running the Art Group at the time.
Good days and bad, of course. I recommend that you get all your serious work done and then make room for some low-cost fun. Whatever works for you. It'll help keep your spirits up. All work and no play and all that.
