Awesome issue. I'm fully on board with Remender's Secret Avengers.

Love that it ties into the current X-Force arc as well, with Father.

But Bubba has been right all along in how much of a waste of space Hawkeye is. The last .1 issue of Secret Avengers and issue #4 of Avenging Spider-Man showed all that.

Canadians can be very wise. It's all that time spent in isolation with the snow and the moose (mooses? meese?)

That sounds like an 80s detective show.

I'm not convinced he's dead.

Between this and X-Force I'm very disappointed this week. One of my favorite writers just writing bad stories with terrible artists.

This has to be the least "Secret" team ever. Now Hawkeye, Pym, Human Torch, and Venom know about it? According to the AvsX stuff Thor, Ms Marvel, Protector, and Vision will know about it to some degree.

Ugh.

Best issue of anything I've ever read from Remender, but it still ain't great. Hawkeye flipping out over Venom is laughably bad writing considering he once knowingly and happily volunteered to lead a team of super-villains who wrecked Avengers Mansion and nearly killed Jarvis, Herc, Cap and Black Knight. Especially since this is a different Venom...blech.

Also, Hardman would be great on street-level, crime type stuff, but four-color superheroes? Ugh. How Chris can love this guy and hate Bradshaw (who is just lighting it up on Wolvy & the X-Men) truly boggles my mind...

Remender is a great writer but like Azzarello and Morrison does his best work when its just barely connected to the universe at large with little known or personally created characters.

But that's what people like Eric O'Grady do, they stagnate.

What would be the point of redeeming the Irredeemable Ant-Man? It goes agains the whole point of the character, and just makes him another average superhero.
