I was wondering that myself. The guy with the bag handcuffed to his arm shows how clueless some of these guys are, though.

Pawn Stars makes sense, as they're in a large city and push a lot of product. Besides being owned by a comic geek-turned-director, I don't know that Smith's store would be the ideal place to go for anything other than to feed the Wednesday habit.

That guy was really weird, even if he got full value which was 1,000 bucks (what he asked for), was it really necessary to have the briefcase handcuffed to your arm? strange dude

This is a great show and thats coming from someone that hates reality tv. I've listened to the podcast that they do from the store for a while "Tell'em Steve-Dave" and it just as funny.

I like that Jason was in the last episode. I'm skeptical when it comes to reality tv but I can totally believe that he was playing with those action figures regardless of the camera being on him. On his podcast "Jay and Silent bob get old" they tell stories of him doing the same kinda things he was doing there for years. I really dont think he was acting. :-D

You must post at the Outhouse.

I'm surprised they got past the pilot. I'm also surprised many of you watched the 2nd episode. Especially GOSD.

You might have spent your time better thinking of creative ways to rickroll Eli Katz.

I decided to watch it to see what the fuss is about. One minute in, is one guy really such a dork that he's trying to imitate Alan Moore's look?

Their jokes suck too.

Ahh Bryan Johnson. That dude is awesome.

His comic Karney (art by Walt Flanagan) was hilarious and wrong just like the movie he made a few years back, Vulgar.

As I said on another message board: It used to actually cost that much not that long ago.

Not to mention he has to check to see if any of his copies are the newsstand versions which would actually be worth quite a bit more.

But he's probably scoped out the prices via Mile High or some other grossly inflated place and thought everyone's got those prices on their stands.

Just watched the first episode, and that's enough for me. Did not find any of them funny or interesting enough to watch again and I'm pretty sure Kevin Smith got even fatter at some point lately.

They let their fandom get to them sometimes. They pay way too much for some stuff, but they banked on the yardsale!
