I had heard that too but that makes little sense to me with Cyborg. And why do we have to go back five years anyway.

Man I hate that book (but beautiful art). Hawkman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Flash, Teen Titans and Firestorm are all books that I think have suffered horribly with the reboot. Nearly all those titles are old Justice League members.

Coincidence? I say yes!

I don't get how it doesn't make sense due to Cyborg? :smt017

Greg: I'd do many things. Coke is not one of them.
Benderbrau: Greg hates all things white.

1. it IS 5 years in the past, similar to Action. Johns wanted to do an "origin" arc

2. agreed on all those books except Flash, which i think is very surprisingly fantastic

I didn't say that right. I was trying to rush it cause I had somebody at my desk. LOL!

I guess this means that Cyborg was no longer ever a member of the Teen Titans and everything that Wolfman and Perez created no longer happened. Why? Just so Victor could be a founding member of the JL?

Of course Greg, I am a 45 year old man who has seen the Justice League origin about six times now (at least). Origins where Wonder Woman was the original member then Black Canary, then Wonder Woman blah blah blah.

It might just be me getting tired of the same bull from DC. :smt102

1. And that's why I can't stand Action Comics right now either. :-(

2. As big of a Wally fan as you are, I'm now considering getting the first trade of Flash after all. Perhaps I dropped it too soon.

"fantastic" is overselling The Flash right now.

It's a good book that surpassed low expectations.

Justice League is set 5 years before all of the other books, Action Comics is 6 years before.

And those are the two books to me that I was looking forward to the most and have totally dissappointed me.

OK, let me correct a bit:

the art is absolutely fantastic. simply the best-looking comic i'm buying right now (since Martin is no longer on DD). and the writing is worlds better than i expected (although my expectations were nil going in)....good characterization, very fun look at Flash's powers, with inventive situations and uses of his super-speed, nice mix of action and soap opera.

it's a very good book.

Action is great, Justice League was OK for the first 4 issues, but #5 was really bad.

I agree with all of this, the art and writing fit together perfectly in a way that you only really get with writing artists these days.

Action is garbage. utter and complete mediocrity. if Morrison's name wasn't on it, people would be ranting and raving about how shit it is.

They already are!

I like it. I'll admit the time-travel stuff in #5 and #6 was a little muddy, but overall it's been very enjoyable.
