Action had the biggest drop in quality from #1 to #2 it's insane. I could barely get through the third issue and dropped it like a sack of hammers.

I like it. I'll admit the time-travel stuff in #5 and #6 was a little muddy, but overall it's been very enjoyable.

I agree. I like it quite a bit, but the time travel stuff lost me (and I usually love time travel stuff). Now that they've moved past that, I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

The most interesting thing about the book so far is how Morrison is setting up the villains.

the art is absolutely fantastic. simply the best-looking comic i'm buying right now (since Martin is no longer on DD). and the writing is worlds better than i expected (although my expectations were nil going in)....good characterization, very fun look at Flash's powers, with inventive situations and uses of his super-speed, nice mix of action and soap opera.

it's a very good book.

That's a pretty good assessment.

Don't get me wrong, I like the book quite a bit. But I'm not exactly blown away with it either. It's enjoyable and a nice start to the series. I hope it's an indication of what to expect from this series going forward.

I really haven't bothered to read any of it. All Star Western and Demon Knights was good for the few issues I read, but for the most part, the reboot provided a good stopping point for a lot of DC properties. I barely have time to keep up with Marvel each week, and there's some Image and IDW books I want to catch up on too, leaving little room for DC's nu52.

Would anyone say DC was "Marvelized"? That it became more like Marvel with the change?

What is "Marvelized"? I'd define that first.

Changing the story styles and characterizations to being more like Marvel does it.

I was joking, and I do think DC have good comics.

... now that they've been Marvelized.

That still is not defining it. You're defining "Marvelization" by saying changing something to be more like Marvel. Aside from my kneejerk reaction to yell at you for not understanding the word definition, you have to show what "being more like Marvel does it" means.

I like that DC took the risk and did some less obvious books. (OMAC, Blackhawks, Men of War) There have been some stumbles along the way.

Could the newer books worked in a pre-nu52 context? Sure.

All in all, I'm reading about the same number of DC books pre 52 and post 52. Some have been really good, some have been crap.

See I don't think that DC is doing that. It's being done in titles where the character is appearing for the first time (Action Comic, Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, etc.) but the last issue of Superman had the public's faith in Superman restored and a reporter apologizing for doubting Superman.
