Will it be a bunch of people wandering around going "Wow"? That'd be rather avant garde.

If they write WOW correctly it could be another Lord Of The Rings-in fact, they should get Peter Jackson to direct it if they get lucky.

When was this? This is the first I am hearing about that one.

Sorry, I was making a bad joke. There was a movie about The Runaways, the all girl punk band that had Joan Jett and Lita Ford in it.

It goes without saying that we want these done WELL.

So, no Uwe Boll or anyone like that.

Maybe reimagine Cap as a scrawny teenager who joins the Shield High basketball team that regularly faces off against the Hydras or something. Sharon Carter can be the best friend that has loved him since childhood and Black Widow can be the dangerous and edgy girl playing both sides.

Also a Karate Kid movie set in LA would probably be pretty good.

I don't know if a Cap Wolf would work as a movie by itself to be fair. Cap's appeal is that of a super-soldier and not a supernatural being. It would be better if they made a Werewolf By Night movie instead( Which I heard was being made for some time but is still in development hell).
Also, there is a new Karate Kid movie coming out with Jackie Chan and Will Smith's son soon.

Agreed-especially the videogame movies as almost all of them sucked badly whenever Hollywood touches them.

If this ever gets made, I hope to god Hollwywood doesn't ruin it like they do so many movies based on videogames. I am all for Timothy Olyphant or Dominic Cooper playing the lead role though. Also, I would love to see either the Rock or Vin Diesel as Kratos in a God Of War movie.

Either an HBO or AMC series of Y: The Last Man starring Zachary Levi as Yorick Brown.

Age of Apocalypse? There are far too many plot threads. Even if you were able to weave them together coherently the budget would be over $200,000,000 if you wanted high quality special effects.

Video games are (empirically) bad source material for movies.

Brilliant! That's another title I should have included in my list.

What? You didn't like the deep epic source material of Super Mario Brothers?

Neither did I

I see your point in a way but there is a way this could work: They could make the Age Of Apocalypse like a Star Wars-lite epic that could be broken down into different movies. However as you pointed out, the budgeting would be the main issue and I am not sure Disney and Marvel would be willing to take that risk. If that hurdle were to be overcome then I might see it working.
As for videogames, you are right for the most part as almost all of them that are made into movies suck ass. However, this is mostly due to hack writers who don't know anything about the videogames they are writing. If they could get writers and directors who understand how to make them properly then it would make a difference.

Oh god, that was one of the worst videogame movies ever made apart from Double Dragon and Street Fighter. I can't even begin to describe how bad that abomination was. I wouldn't be surprised that whoever wrote that crap got fired.
If I were to make a movie based on Super Mario Bros, I would get Pixar to do it and make it a CGI movie like Shrek or Megamind as that would make it look badass-no live action actors this time around to ruin it.
