What I read was that they were part of a bunch of confiscated stuff that contained bomb parts or the sort.

From what I heard, some of the inmates had scribbled anti-American sentiments in the margins.

Burning is actually one of the proper ways to dispose of a holy book in Judeo-Christian tradition, the other being burial. The problem is that the Korans were apparently burned along with other trash, which is a pretty major no-no.

a damn Afghan soldier just shot and killedtwo American soldiers over this

and the president had to apologize.

im getting to the point where even i am getting to the opinion of just pulling out and letting them collapse and be subjugated by the Taliban again.

and if they build a single terrorist camp, just carpet bombing the whole damn country. every time.
