Wow. Not a lot of reviews for this..
Anyway, just read it along with the previous two issues (since I read the book in trade, I had to at least get caught up on the current arc)
Great stuff.
I like that the story has split now, with Becky trying to rescue Sinclair, and with Sinclair trying to stay alive/protect the guns and Becky. As well as the Gord stuff.
It's also nice to get a little breather of the supernatural and find that there's other people after the guns for their own purposes as well. Haven't trusted the Sword of Abraham since they showed up, and the Knights of Solomon are no better. It's pretty clear Bunn is building to a showdown and proving to Becky that no one is trustworthy when it comes to the guns.
This series has been a revelation since it started. I'm not a big western guy at all, but thing overcomes that. Hurtt's great art aside, it's just fun every issue. We're talking about magic guns, and ghosts and zombies and the potential apocalypse.. in the wild west! Great stuff. I want this to be collected in HC format at some point. It's too good not to.
Story: 9
Art: 9
