By a movie?
Kill List. I watched the first 15 minutes a month ago and stopped. I was incredibly bored with it. On a recommendation, I decided to stick through the whole thing last week and wow.. I was a jackass. That movie is unbelievable.. it's still stuck in my head.
By a comic book?
Y: The Last Man. I cried when
and I realized I haven't felt this strongly about characters from a piece of fiction in a very long time. It was a subtle realization and I curse Brian K. Vaughn for making me feel.
By music?
Tame Impala. I'm not into 'psychedelic rock', but I love some of their songs, particularly
Expectation and
41 Mosquitoes Flying In Formation.
By a TV show?
Veronica Mars. I thought it was going to be a lot of BS teen drama crap, but then I caught it while it was streaming on Netflix and I can't believe how great that first season was. The second one wasn't bad, either.. but the first one was fantastic.
By a book? Not a full book, but the short story called
Twittering From The Circus Of The Dead by
Joe Hill. I read it in a zombie compilation book, and the whole story is told in Twitter form. I was completely enthralled with the story, I found it was written very well and I couldn't rave enough about it.
